Structure: wool pile, brown wool warps and dark red wool wefts

Knots: Gördes (Turkish, symmetrical)

Description: This Khamseh Confederacy rug with an extraordinarily fine craftsmanship and unique artistry shows a myriad of pecking chickens and stylized small boteh motifs in a dark blue central field. Woven by Baharlu or Arab tribe. Preserved in a very good condition; original sides. Rare natural dyes.
