Antique Moghan (Mughan) rug, second half 19th century, Azerbaijan, published at Ian Bennett's "Oriental Rugs". The antique Azerbaijani rugs in this Moghan / Memling Guls format were woven mainly in Kazak and Bordjalou Regions, but this one carries many features to be considered as a "Moghan".
