Shilyan Village is
located 70 km to the south-west of Shamakhy. It has also been woven in neighbor
villages such as Cheltikli, Mususlu, Yeni Shilyan, Sor-Sor. Shilyan
carpets were considered as one of the best in Istanbul Carpet Market in
XIX century.
