Moghan district, South Caucasus, circa 1880
The shaded fox-brown field scattered with serrated flowerheads and minor motifs around a central ivory square panel framed by minor flowerheads containing a pale pink cross-panel with arrowheads containing a stylised floral motif, a pale blue panel containing a serrated flowerhead above and below, in an ivory border of stepped floral panels together with facing triangles and vine meander between reciprocal skittle-pattern stripes, pain outer stripe, ends rewoven, small areas of repiling
