Kazak: A colourful Kazak with a met hane design: like many Talish rugs, the
red field is undecorated and separated from the extra wide border area by a
light blue band of reciprocal trefoils. In this carpet, the large blossoms
with four diagonal 'arms' ("crab" designs) in the white-ground main border
are the most striking feature. Original sides and upper finish, which
retains the braided warp ends, restored lower finish. Very good overall
condition.
