Early Azerbaijan rug, 1800 or earlier, it is attributed to Kazak by some sources, but it is most probably made in Iranian Azerbaijan

Lot 107, an interesting 19th century Kazak, (Illustration 6) 205x130cm; with three hooked octagonal medallions rendered in green/white/green in a pattern seen in Star Kazaks in the red medallions flanking the blue central star (see Tschebull, Kazak, front cover).
