Design: The midnight blue central field comprises a vertical row of
two sunburst medallion in red and ivory. Hook embellished hexagons with
projections on either side form the inside designs of these medallions.
The entire space in between is filled with minor ornaments like flower
heads, diamonds and stars. The ivory ground main border includes a variety
of the "Kabala Nakhysh" (waves or running dog) motif. Two minor borders of
carnation motif are flanked the main border. Two further minor borders
appear inside - the red ground flowerhead and ivory "aksu" (white water)
motif. |
