Materials: Handcarded and handspun wool for pile, wool warps and cotton wefts
Hand knotted in Azerbaijan
Design: Memling gul cruciforms (Mughan Qarmaqly-Hooked) motifs in golden yellow, mid blue, madder red, green and ivory are arranged in alternating horizontal rows to fill the blue-black field; red inner and outer medakhill guards enclose three borders - two flower patterns on sky blue grounds and a classic ivory Chichi main border of rosettes and slanting bars.
