Density: 108 000 knots per square meter, totally ~ 310 000 knots
Pile height: 0.7 cm
End finish: braids with triangular looped bases
Weaving period: 3 months

Colors: red, dark medium blue, navy blue, yellow, aubergine, maroon, medium green, aqua green, lawn green, ivory, dark brown.
Dyes: madder, weld (Reseda Luteola), onion skins, indigo, pomegranate skins, walnut husks, natural dark brown sheep wool, natural ivory sheep wool, natural medium brown sheep wool.
Materials: Handcarded and handspun wool for pile, ivory wool warps and two shots of red wool wefts (dyed with madder and onion skins)

Weavers: Fatima & Yasemen
Handwoven in Azerbaijan

Design: An archaic design which contains many tribal elements, is predominated lawn green, dark yellow and ivory colors. The outer guard has a star pattern. There is an inscription on the rug in the ancient Orhon Yenisey alphabet.

Inscriptions: tamga (tribal seal) of Afshar tribe, together with an ancient Turkic tamga



The word "Kut" in ancient Turkic Runic alphabet. Kut means luck and happiness in ancient Turkic.
