"Lotto" rug, 2nd half 17 century, Western Turkey, Ushak Region, Ottoman Empire. 115x148cm, 830 knots/dm2. "Ornamented" style. One of the very few rugs from Schmutzler's collection still preserved in Romania, it was later sold to George Oprescu who donated it to the Romanian Academy.
