Zanjan: This small village rug in zaronim format was woven in Zanjan, the northernmost village of the Hamadan region. A hexagonal central medallion with attached points stands alone in the ivory field. Small botehs linked by vines decorate the midnight blue corners. The border consists of three stripes of equal width containing botehs, rosettes and vines, surrounded by a wide camel edge. Newly overcast sides, somewhat reduced ends.
