Meshkin Long Rug: Six red and white medallions with a cruciform interior drawing lie on a midnight blue field which is hermetically filled with a dense design of trees, shrubs, plants, blossoms, small stars, amulets and animal shapes. The yellow-ground border contains 'S'-shapes and cartouches filled with stars set into a dotted vine. New overcasting along the sides, slightly reduced ends, signs of wear.
