Karabagh "Khanlyg" long rug in a yellow ground, circa 1870, Shusha, Azerbaijan. Sotheby's Doris Leslie Blau: Carpets and Tapestries, 01 Oct 02. According to Latif Kerimov, this type of yellow runners were produced under Khurshidbanu Natavan's (Famous Azerbaijani poetess - daughter of Mehdigulu Khan, the last ruler of the Karabakh khanate) direct supervision (1832-1897).
