Design: 
It carries the main features of the small sized mid 19th century Perepedil prayer rugs. The ivory field scattered with a variety of animals, birds (simurg), tamgas, tribal and floral motifs around alternating ram's horn and octagon motifs flanked by hooked dart-motifs, an angled keel-arch above, the spandrels with hooked lozenges and "well pulley"motifs, in a dark blue broad kufic border between polychrome diagonal striped "Pakhlava" (National Azerbaijani layered pastry with walnut filling) and flower head motif minor stripes

Dated and signed with the tamga of Afshar tribe.
