Structure: wool pile, cotton warps and cotton wefts.

Description: This antique Bao Tao sitting rug with the shades of dark and light blue is from Mongolian steps. 7 dragon foliate medallions in the central field with the endless knot motifs at the corners. The border contains cloudband and other taostic/buddhistic motifs. Trefoil motif minor border contains "shou" characters at the corners which is the symbol of longevity.
