Lotto carpet,
Turkey, produced circa 1900. Approx 360 x 240 cm. This piece is a reproduction with identical pattern and colouring, but an unusual size. The pile is evenly low with heavy
areas of wear along the main border, both ends reduced, the sides damaged, soiled. (MA)
